We will go over floor rope ties and concepts. There will be connective, body manipulation and sadistic rope. The purpose of the class is to show basic but very effective ties to play with people in rope without using any up lines. This class is for all levels. Demonstration and hands-on time to practice the techniques and play. Options for creativity and personalization.
Tie options:
Single column tie (somerville bowline)
Ishinawa (one rope connective tie)
hog tie (TK with futos and hair/mouth rope options)
Tight chest wrap (breath playish), leg/shin torture
About the Instructors:
Gentleebrutal (he/him)
Gentleebrutal was introduced into the world of kink in 2012. Rope was my entry point into this world and since then my passion continues to keep growing. I love the intimacy, connection, and trust one can build within rope and a person. The energy and creativity I receive from these moments are an endless journey of growth and discovery. I am lucky enough to have had great mentors that have taught me the beauty of Kinbaku.
Gentleebrutal has taught classes for CARE/SORE, private lessons, ARS, and SADDE all in Austin, Tx.

The world of kink has opened up an amazing journey in my life and when I discovered rope it quickly became a huge enjoyment of mine. The place it takes me, along with the challenge, is a blissful feeling. I love the animalistic energy I feel flow through me and the joy I receive from pushing and continuing to learn new things. Connecting, growing, and energy are very important to me and I love when that comes through in my ties.
Prerequisites and Equipment:
Class Level: All Levels - No prerequisite rope skills necessary! Everyone is welcome whether with or without rope experience
Knowledge of a single column tie is a plus
Rope, any safety equipment and beautiful attitude

- Photo ID is required to be admitted and must match the name listed in your online registration. You must be at least 19 years of age to attend Studio Friction events.
